Master artist workshops

The Gulf Coast Museum of Art announces its annual series of Master Artist Workshops, taking place in the coming months. The program brings in artists of regional, national and international stature to share their knowledge and techniques with the public in workshop environments. Workshops are kept small, though a minimum number of participants is required. Price range is $240 to $710; museum members receive a discount.

Scheduled for 2001 are Richard Ritter, hot glass, Jan. 29-Feb. 2; Patricia Telesco, jewelry, Feb. 16-18; April Gornik, critiques with emphasis on drawing, March 2-4; Josette Urso, painting with fabric, April 27-29; and Peter King, architectural ceramics, May 12-13.
