THE LOWDOWN: This is the second meeting this season. Theteams tied at 2 on Nov. 17 in Toronto. The Lightning last beat the Maple Leafs at home 3-1 on Feb. 9, 1993. RW Steve Thomas (knee) is out for the Maple Leafs. Ex-Lightning D Cory Cross (hip) was activated off the injured reserve. Mats Sundin has 17 points (9 goals, 8 assists) in his past 15 games, including Saturday's win over Florida. Yanic Perreault has 16 points (8 goals, 8 assists) in his past 14. The Maple Leafs are 5-2-1 in the second of games played on consecutive nights this season. This is the last of a six-game road trip for Toronto. It was 2-3 after beating Florida. The line of LW Fredrik Modin, C Brad Richards and RW Martin St. Louis has combined for six goals and four assists in the past three games, including Saturday's tie against Boston. The Lightning is three for its past 48 on the power play. RW Mike Johnson, who played 226 games for Toronto, has two goals and two assists in two games against the Maple Leafs.
