The Baker House Restoration Committee will participate in a Memorial Tree Planting Ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of the Baker House, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday.

A Palatka holly and a seedling orange will be planted in a ceremony honoring Linda Edwards, late wife of Duane Edwards. He is a decendent of Samuel Baker, the original owner of the 1882 Cracker-style house. The late Mrs. Edwards was an avid supporter of the Baker House, the oldest house in West Pasco with this type of architecture. Edwards continues in this support. For information, call 849-2131.
