NOTES: The track's new Outlaw Late Model class is showing steady signs of growth as more drivers get their cars ready to race. In the first show of the year in early February, just one Outlaw showed up. In the first regular show of the season in early March, seven Outlaws were on the scene. Last week, that grew to nine, and this week more are expected. The new Street Stocks class, which moved up from Enduros, is filling the full 24 spots for the main feature. However, Enduros need to grow. Only three cars raced last weekend, but promoters are confident it, too, will thrive. Open Wheel Modified driver Chet Senokossoff, who was off to a strong start, challenged the proposition that racing is dangerous by breaking his arm on his boat. He will be out a few weeks. All of the regular classes are on the schedule tonight. Hornets, a special class for drivers 16-19, is on this week. Enduros will be back next week. That's when the track will have its first 50-lap Late Model race of the year. It will be followed a week later by the return of Winged Sprints and the Jimmy Haynes Memorial event.
