Jennifer Hobby, daughter of Nancie and Eddie Hobby of St. Petersburg, has been named morning show producer at WBTS-FM 95.5 in Atlanta.

A 1995 graduate of Canterbury School, Ms. Hobby graduated from Florida State University's school of mass communications in 1999.

Personal Enrichment through Mental Health Services has announced winners of the PEMHS Applauds Community Endeavors awards.

Recipients are Pinellas Park Police Chief Doreen Thomas, law enforcement; U.S. Rep. Leslie Waters, R-Seminole, governmental division; Judge Morris Silverberg of the 2nd District Court of Appeals, community affairs; and America II mentoring program marketing executive Chuck Magee, business division.

They will be recognized at the 20th PACE awards dinner March 29 at the Belleview Biltmore Country Club, Belleair.
