A Brooksville man was charged Saturday with attacking two Hernando County Sheriff's Office deputies who were attempting to approach him as he stood naked on top of a car.
Nicholas Morrow, 19, of 15063 Snow Memorial Highway north of Brooksville, was charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, criminal mischief and indecent exposure.
Police say Morrow was standing naked on a vehicle parked in front of 22033 Lake Lindsey Road at about 4 a.m. Saturday when they tried to talk to him.
At that point, Morrow threw a rock at one deputy, police records say. He then charged both deputies and fought with them as they tried to arrest him by kicking and punching them.
Police later learned that Morrow had broken a rear window at the Lake Lindsey home, records say. Morrow was being held Saturday at Hernando County Jail in lieu of $16,000 bond.

Four people were hospitalized following a traffic accident west of Brooksville on Saturday, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
At about 6 p.m., 16-year-old Patrick Micheal Bauer of Altamonte Springs was driving a 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck west on State Road 50 at the intersection of Spring Lake Highway when he struck the 1988 Buick driven by Donna Sue Restrepo, 42, of Brooksville. Restrepo was eastbound on Highway 50 and made a left hand turn into the path of Bauer's truck, according to the report.
Bauer had a green light when he crossed the intersection, the report states.
Restrepo and her passenger, Nathane Bobby Brown, 40 of Brooksville, were taken to Bayfront Medical Center in Tampa. Neither had been wearing seatbelts.
Bauer and his passenger, Francise Luis Cadavid, 16, of Apopka, were treated and released from Brooksville Regional Hospital.
