Police are trying to find out who shot two men at their residence Sunday night, but say they have no leads on suspects.
Daniel Biggs, 28, and Kenya Cox, 23, were struck by gunfire after they answered a knock on their door and then exchanged words with their assailant or assailants, police spokesman Wayne Shelor said.
The shooting occurred about 9 p.m. at 405 Vine Ave. Both victims were not being cooperative with investigators, according to police.
Cox, who was shot in the leg, was taken by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where he was in fair condition Monday afternoon. Biggs, who was shot in the abdomen, was taken to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was treated for his injury and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Anyone with information about the shooting may call Clearwater police at 562-4314.
