Music group has new officers for the year

The Strings and Strutters have announced new officers for the coming year. The group has been entertaining the public for the past 13 years in the fashion of the Philadelphia Mummers.

Richard Hertzog is the new president assisted by Chet O'Leske, vice president, Cathy Finamore, secretary and Dolores Hertzog, treasurer.

Ray Magas is music director.

There are 15 musicians in the group and nine strutters who perform for charitable organizations, churches, civic associations and at other functions.

Association installs

new officers

The Florida Association for Family and Community Education (FAFCE) has installed new officers.

The new County Council officers are Carl Jasinski, president; Maxine Clayton, vice president; Joe Vanyur, secretary and Bo Mathews, treasurer.

Officers for the Fort Dade Club covering Dade City and Zephyrhills, are Ruth Plankey, president; Shirley Bauwens, vice president; Maxine Clayton, secretary, and Betty Hayner, treasurer.

Officers for the Lumber Jills and Jacks of Odessa are Bo Mathews, president; Gloria Jasinski, vice president; Katherine Gaskins, secretary and Carl Jasinski, treasurer.
