Volumes of work

The Coastal Region library has been repositioning books on it's shelf units to make room for even more books. Members of the library's staff and volunteers, including students doing community service for Bright Futures Scholarships, helped reshelve some of the 55,000 books moved. The books had to be taken down so that the shelf units could be repositioned to maximize space. The work started Saturday and the staff hopes to be finished by this evening. The Lakes Region Library in Inverness will be undertaking its own reorganization project beginning Saturday afternoon. Volunteers are needed. Those interested in assisting should contact the Lakes Region Library at 726-2357.
