Another season for SLT

In December, founder and artistic director Rene Gonzales announced that the company, faced with declining ticket sales, was in danger of going out of business, but Wednesday it announced the lineup for its 43rd season. The season opens with Brigadoon (Sept. 10), followed by America Immortal (Nov. 17), The King and I (March 16) and La Verbena de la Paloma (May 18), all at Ferguson Hall of Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. SLT is Tampa's oldest theater company and one of three in the United States that perform Spanish zarzuelas.
