They got change in their pockets going jingle lingle ling . . . Yes, folks, the Georgia Satellites are coming to town, bringing along their feisty riffs and a live act that's said to be something.
Don't write off the Satellites as a 1980s one-hit wonder, though Keep Your Hands to Yourself is tough to beat. The band still plays no-nonsense rock that's aged much better than all the crud those hair bands were dashing out at the same time.
The Georgia Satellites, with Sean Chambers opening, perform at 9:30 p.m. Friday at Bourbon Street Nightclub, 4331 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. $15 advance, $20 at the door. (727) 843-0686.
