A USDA Rural Development representative will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in the Hernando County Housing Authority office in the Hernando County Government Center, 20 N Main St., Room 205.
The representative will provide information to the public on subsidized loans for home construction, purchase or repair.
These programs are available to "low" and "very low" income applicants who can qualify. No appointments are necessary. Realtors, lenders and builders also are welcome.
Rural Development also provides guaranteed loans with 100 percent financing for qualified "low" to "moderate" income families or individuals.
