Police are searching for a man who has been missing since Nov. 1.

Mark Allen Thompson, 30, of 100 Waverly Way was last seen leaving the Pro Shop Pub, 840 Cleveland St., in the early morning of Nov. 1. His mother called police the next day, saying her son had not returned home.

His 1998 Ford Ranger pickup was found in Tampa on Nov. 5. There is no evidence of foul play, but investigators are concerned that Thompson hasn't contacted his family, police spokesman Wayne Shelor said.

Thompson is bipolar and has not had his medication with him since his disappearance, according to a flier from the Missing Children Help Center. Shelor said Thompson has never had an episode in which he went this long without contacting his family.

Thompson is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was dressed in khaki knee-length shorts and a white shirt with blue stripes when he left the club.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Clearwater police Detective Chris Housholder at 562-4365.
