Lightning family grows by one

Another big slap shot came into the world at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Of course nobody knows that for sure. But given that the boy's father is Lightning left wing Fredrik Modin, who can fire a puck at 102.1 mph, NHL teams probably are making mental notes to give the kid a look in, oh, about 15 years. The 6-pound, 11-ounce boy is the first child for Modin and his fiancee, Linda Renhorn. There was no immediate word on what the baby was named.
