TONIGHT: LIGHTNING VS. MAPLE LEAFS

WHEN/WHERE: 7:30; Ice Palace, Tampa.

THE LOWDOWN: Entering Wednesday's game at Florida, the Maple Leafs were 28th in the league in road power play (2-for-34, 5.9 percent) while the Lightning was 19th (23-for-27, 85.2) on the home penalty kill. Toronto was 20th in road penalty kill (27-for-33, 81.8) while the Lightning was 22nd (5-for-38, 13.2) on home power play. D Josef Boumedienne and D Sascha Goc could play tonight as the Lightning's defense remains depleted. Grant Ledyard is on the injured reserve (concussion), and coach John Tortorella said Cory Sarich is doubtful as he recovers from a shoulder injury. Goc practiced with the first-team units Wednesday.
