Hospice Horse Show

Horse fanciers can watch exciting competition involving the teamwork between horse and rider at the annual Hospice Horse Show, which begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Pine Ridge Equestrian Center on Pine Ridge Boulevard.

The horse show includes food, a petting zoo, clowns and a full schedule of horse competition events. The show is a fundraiser for Hospice of Citrus County, which uses the money to fund its Camp Good Hope, a summer camp for bereaved children.

A demonstration by the Silk and Sable mounted drill team and a by Victor Forti and his steep, a champion paso fino named Apollo, will be at noon.

The event is sponsored by the Sportsmans Sertoma Club of Beverly Hills. Spectators should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Admission is $2; parking is free.
