The Lightning will honor the season of goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin before tonight's game against the Canadiens (7:30, WDAE-AM 620) at the Ice Palace.

The first 10,000 fans get cardboard replicas of Khabibulin's mask. The jerseys worn by Khabibulin at the All-Star Game and for Russia at the Olympics will be on display. Khabibulin highlights will be shown on the scoreboard throughout the game.

Going into Thursday, Khabibulin's .926 save percentage was third in the league and he was tied for second with seven shutouts.

"I think it's kind of nice," said Khabibulin, who will receive a watch and a Tiffany bowl before the game. "But it would be much better if we were making the playoffs right now."
