SERVICES: Sunday: Worship at 9:15 a.m., Bible fellowship at 11 a.m., evening worship celebration at 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday: Fellowship dinner at 5 p.m., prayer meeting and Bible study at 6 p.m.

LEADERSHIP: Scott H. Rogers has been the associate pastor since 1997. He is an ordained minister and a licensed practical nurse. Scott holds an associate's degree in liberal arts from DeKalb College and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Georgia State University. He has more than a quarter of a century's experience in various aspects of the ministry. He and his wife, Kathryn, have a daughter, Penny.

HISTORY: The congregation began in 1982 as the Mission at Carrollwood. It is aided and supported by three other churches; First Baptist Church of Lutz, Idlewild Baptist Church and Carrollwood Baptist Church. The church held its constitution celebration on Oct. 1, 1995, becoming an autonomously incorporated congregation. It is the only full-time church for the deaf of any denomination in Florida.

OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITY: Members minister to people who are housebound, in nursing homes, and in assisted living facilities.
