The Reillys

Walter J. and Bertila Reilly of Port Richey and Lake George, N.Y., renewed their wedding vows in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary with the Rev. Seamus Collins of St. Michael's Catholic Church conducting the ceremony.

The Reillys also celebrated at a family dinner party at the Inn on the Gulf in Hudson and are planning a trip to Ireland.

Their children attended the dinner party: son Kevin P. of Troy, N.Y.; daughter Debbie Favio and her husband, Gary, of Averill Park, N.Y.; son Chief Petty Officer Michael A. who is stationed on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. George Washington, and his wife, Kerie, of Argyle, N.Y.; and son Peter and his wife, Cynthia, also of Troy. Other guests at the dinner party were Walter's sister Barbara Somi and her husband, Tom, of Vienna, Va.; Bertila's brother Jim and his wife, Jean, of Port Richey; and Walter's brother Jack and his wife, Florita, of Nokomis.

The couple married Feb. 16, 1952, at St. Anthony Church in Montreal.

He was a paper maker in Green Island, N.Y., before retiring, and she was a legal secretary in Troy.

He served two years in the Marine Corps and celebrated his 18th birthday in China. He is a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Polish American Club.

They are both members of St. Michael's.

He enjoys fishing and she likes to play bingo.

The Polens

NEW PORT RICHEY _ Walter and Ann Polen of New Port Richey recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.

The couple married March 18, 1942, in Bowling Green, Ohio.

They have two daughters: Patricia Polen of New Port Richey and Nancy Hanck of Spring Hill, whose husband is Rodger Hanck. The Polens have four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He retired from retail management in Ohio and she retired from retail sales in Ohio. They have lived in New Port Richey since 1987.

He is a World War II veteran and served with the 1st Division in the Army and saw action in Africa and Europe. He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
