WHEN / WHERE: Approximately 8 a.m.-5 p.m. today-Friday; One Buc Place, Tampa.
PARTICIPANTS: Brad Johnson, Shaun King, Rob Johnson.
FORMAT: For the first time since being named Bucs coach, Jon Gruden will meet with his three quarterbacks and begin working on what is said to be a very extensive playbook. Gruden and the quarterbacks will spend most of the day in the classroom or in film sessions and may finish off each day's session with on-field work. Considering he has pledged to give each player a "good look," Gruden plans to spend a good deal of time with each of the three.
BUCS BITS: Brad Johnson was at One Buc on Friday and described the playbook as "a lot to learn, a lot." Visibly absent from the camp is third-year pro Joe Hamilton, last season's third-string quarterback. Hamilton, who is playing for the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europe, will miss this session and both minicamps in the summer. Since there is little on-field activities, the workouts are not open to the public. The first full-squad minicamp is April 5-7.
