More than a month after a flood at City Hall forced the city's entire administrative operation to move, it looks like it will be another 30 days before workers can move back in. According to City Manager John Lawrence, a new roofing contractor will survey the damaged roof today and will offer an estimate to finish the job. Though it is not yet known how much monetary damage was done in the June 17 downpour, the city expects New Millennium Construction of Tampa to pick up the tab. New Millennium has been working on the $367,000 renovation at 542 Main St. since February, which calls for the addition of a television studio, replacing the roof and installing a new electrical and air-conditioning system. The City Hall operation will remain at the nearby Dr. William E. Hale Senior Activity Center at 330 Douglas Ave.
