The Run for the Money joggers made their anticipated stop at Perry by midday Tuesday, said Cabot McBride, Key Center director of housing and residential services. The runners, making their way from Tallahassee to Lecanto, exceeded their usual pace. Monday, Sheriff Jeff Dawsy, Deputy Dave Vincent and Key Center director Chet Cole put in 41 miles, which left only 10 to run Tuesday, McBride said. They were to put in another 10 or 12 miles Tuesday evening. The runners are expected to arrive at the Key Center campus around noon Saturday.
