Redistricting means voting changes

(ran PC edition)

The 2002 legislative redistricting process has been completed, and as a result of the process the U.S. House of Representatives, Florida Senate and Florida House districts in Pasco County have been changed.

Pasco County will now have congressional districts 5 and 9; state Senate districts 10, 11 and 12 and state House districts 44, 45, 46, 48, 61 and 62. With these changes, the Supervisor of Elections Office has updated precinct lines and changed polling place to accommodate the growth in Pasco County.

Elections Supervisor Kurt Browning will mail new voter identification cards to all Pasco County registered voters between now and July 26.

The cards will reflect new congressional, Senate and House districts, as well as new polling place if it has changed.

Additionally, the County Commission and School Board districts will be indicated.
