Man accused of stalking neighbors
BROOKSVILLE _ A 47-year-old Brooksville man was arrested at his Amish Lane home on Thursday after neighbors told deputies that he had been harassing them, a Hernando County Sheriff's Office report said.
Raymond Galusha faces one charge of aggravated stalking, the report said.
An injunction had been placed on Galusha after neighbors began complaining about him last year. In June, deputies called to his home noticed he had placed signs written in Spanish facing his neighbors' home. One read "Viva Fidel." A sheriff's report translated the other as "Be cursed for having birth."
The Davis family also had reported that Galusha tailgated their vehicle, made offensive gestures, honked his horn at them, and woke them up by yelling profanities in the early morning, the report said.
On June 11, the Davises told deputies Galusha said he had "something special planned for the little boy (their son) that would teach him a life lesson."
Galusha was arrested after deputies obtained a warrant for aggravated stalking. He was taken to Hernando County Jail.
