Six-time Cy Young winner Roger Clemens is scheduled to pitch for the Tampa Yankees at 7 tonight against the Sarasota Red Sox at Legends Field.
Clemens is rehabilitating a strained groin and has been on the disabled list since July 13. General admission seats are $1. Fans who bring a canned food donation for the Salvation Army will receive a free ticket. The first 500 fans will receive commemorative pins honoring the Yankees' 100th season.
Also, Sterling Hitchcock will pitch for the Gulf Coast League Yankees at noon today at the Yankees Player Development Center, Himes Avenue and Columbus Drive. Hitchcock, a former star at Armwood High in Seffner, is rehabilitating a strained ligament in his lower back.
