Pinellas Park seeking Ambassador of the Year

The city is seeking nominations for its Ambassador of the Year awards, presented to one or more individuals who have acted as unofficial representatives on the city's behalf; and/or contributed their personal or professional services to the city.

The mayor and City Council will present the awards during the January Council meeting. Recipients will receive a city of Pinellas Park golf shirt with their name and the City Ambassador designation, an original glass art piece made and signed by local artist Ed Kozlowski, and their names engraved on a plaque outside council chambers in City Hall.

Submit nominations by Dec. 8. The city and the chamber of commerce will honor businesses that make a positive impact in the community with the 2003 Business of Distinction Awards. Nominations are being accepted in five categories: Expansion, Design, Innovation, Community Involvement and Service.

To nominate a business, send the company name, company contact person, the business address and phone number, and indicate the category to Business & Neighborhood Development Division, P.O.
