Damien Cantrell had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead EA Sports over Wake Forest 80-75. Cordell Henry scored 20 to lead Team Nike over No. 17 Kentucky 84-75. Jarvis Hayes scored 24 to lead No. 18 Georgia over EA Sports All-Stars 118-79.

DUKE: Coach Mike Krzyzewski was back at practice after straining a hip flexor muscle in a preseason game last week.

UAB: Twins Donell and Ronell Taylor of Okaloosa-Walton Community College chose the Blazers in the early signing period.

TAMPA: Games set for Friday (vs. Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras) and Saturday (vs. Puerto Rico Cayey) have been moved to the new Tampa Prep Gym at North Boulevard north of Cass because of the NCAA volleyball region at UT. Both games are at 7:30 p.m.

POLL: Arizona (58 first-place votes, 1,736 points) and Kansas (10, 1,679) stayed Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, in AP's rankings, voted on by a national media panel. Texas is third, its best ever, and Alabama moved from eighth to fourth, its highest ranking since it was in the same spot Feb. 15, 1977. Pittsburgh is fifth; Florida fell a spot to eighth.

WOMEN: Duke, Tennessee and LSU remained as the top three in the AP poll. Duke got 37 of 42 first-place votes and had 1,043 points. Kansas State is fourth and Stanford fifth; each moved up a spot.
