Donations needed for Thanksgiving dinner at Jerome Brown Center

Donations are needed for the 14th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner, which will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Jerome Brown Community Center, 99 Jerome Brown Place, off Darby Lane.

Items needed include turkeys, ham, vegetables, stuffing, mashed potatoes, desserts (cakes, pies, etc.), paper products and drinks. Donations will be collected through Monday.

The dinner is free. Transportation can be arranged.

The event is sponsored by JAM (Jesus And Me Ministry) and the city of Brooksville Parks and Recreation Department. The dinner will include entertainment. Also, the various committees (servers, transportation, entertainment, wait staff and cleanup) will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the community center.
