The demonstration Wednesday was part of the Great American Teach-In at Cotee River Elementary School in New Port Richey.

Pasco Assistant Fire Chief Frank Downey, center, helps fifth-grader Luis Pimental blow the air horn as he checks out the Station 29 engine during the Teach-In. "Some kids ask if we get tired of the horn," says Chad Zimmerman, right, a firefighter EMT. Children inspected several vehicles at the school, including a limousine, a cement truck and a police car.
