Taking a bite out of hunger

Michael Hrabcak, who said he has lived on the streets for two months, enjoys soup at the Empty Bowls Thanksgiving Luncheon on Thursday at Lykes Gaslight Park in Tampa. Most in the crowd were there to help the Divine Providence Food Bank. For $10, they received soup, bread, an apple and water, as well as a bowl made by Hillsborough County elementary students to take home. Hrabcak, 60, ate for free. "I hope the Divine Providence does well," he said.
