ANNIVERSARIES

The Lampes

Russell and Audrey Lampe celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 2, 2003, with family and friends at Billy's Stone Crab Seafood and Steak House in Tierra Verde. They were married March 7, 1953, in Bartow and moved to Seminole.

Mrs. Lampe moved to Florida from Westfield, Mass., in July 1948 and was employed as a substitute teacher. She has volunteered for American Stage in St. Petersburg for 17 years and is a church ministry team volunteer.

Mr. Lampe moved to Florida from Chicago in July 1926 and graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1941. He retired as a general contractor. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club Lodge 139, the Masonic Lodge and is a board member for the Habitat for Humanity Pinellas County. He was a carrier for the St. Petersburg Times and served in the Army during World War II.

They are members of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and Pasadena Community Church. They have four children and two grandchildren.

The Wolfords

Donald and Sue Wolford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 1, 2003, with a party with family and friends at the Mainlands Clubhouse in Pinellas Park. They were married Feb. 28, 1953, at Presbyterian Church in Winnebago, Ill., and moved to Pinellas Park.

Mrs. Wolford was a homemaker. Mr. Wolford retired as a programmer. He served in the armed forces during the Korean War. They enjoy bowling and are members of the Mainlands Unit Six Golf Club.

They are members of First Presbyterian Church of St. Petersburg and have two children and five grandchildren.

The Kokoteks

Norbert and Jeanette Kokotek celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 14, 2003, with a private celebration with family at their home in Seminole. They were married Feb. 14, 1943, at Holy Innocence Church in Chicago and moved to Seminole from Fairbury, Ill., in 1980.

Mrs. Kokotek is a homemaker. Mr. Kokotek retired as an emergency room physician for Lake Seminole Hospital. He was in private practice in Chicago for 22 years and was a family practitioner in Fairbury for seven years. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Third Order and served with the Black Hawk 86th Division 342nd Regiment during World War II.

They attend St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo and have eight children and 17 grandchildren.

The Steiners

John and Ludmilla Steiner celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 22, 2003, with family and friends at the Wine Cellar Restaurant and Fine Catering in North Redington Beach. They were married Feb. 21, 1943, in New York City and moved to Red Hook, N.Y. They are winter residents of Treasure Island.

Mrs. Steiner retired as a hair stylist and is a homemaker. Mr. Steiner retired as a general contractor.

They have two children and two grandchildren.
