Third of 12 fundamental techniques for baseball and softball players.
Hands back, feet spread, knees slightly flexed, back elbow relaxed - now you're set to let the ball get to you.
Rest your chin against your front shoulder, and finish the swing with your chin resting against your back shoulder. Use your shoulders to keep eyes and chin focused on the ball.
Start your hands at the top of your strike zone and swing through the ball, not just at the ball. Image a paddle on your back hip and, as your hands move through the ball, drive that paddle at the ball. Your hips will make your hands quicker and stronger.
