WHO'S HOT

Kansas: The No. 6-ranked Jayhawks have won three straight and 10 of their past 11 entering today's game at Missouri. Besides the rivalry factor, the Jayhawks can win the Big 12 title outright and move closer to a top seed in the NCAA Tournament with a win.

WHO'S NOT

Virginia: The Cavaliers have lost seven straight entering today's home game against No. 13 Maryland. This team does not resemble the one that beat Kentucky in November and Maryland on the road in early February. A loss today would force the Cavs to win once in the ACC tournament just to be considered for the NIT.

ON THE BUBBLE

Minnesota: Not that long ago, the Golden Gophers had won seven of eight and their NCAA chances looked, well, golden. But they since have lost to Michigan State, Wisconsin and Indiana, good teams to be sure, but now seemingly must beat No. 14 Illinois today and make some noise in the Big Ten tournament to earn a berth.
