RAPTORS: Forward Lamond Murray will not return this season after tearing a ligament in his right foot that required surgery in October.
SUNS: Dan Majerle was added to the team's Ring of Honor in a boisterous halftime ceremony.
HALL OF FAME: James Worthy and Robert Parish, who squared off in the classic Lakers-Celtics NBA Finals of the 1980s, could enter the Hall side by side. They were among 21 finalists announced by the screening committee that considers the men's college and pro game. The inductees will be announced April 7.
Others nominated are Gus Johnson, Maurice Cheeks, Dennis Johnson, Adrian Dantley, Bobby Jones, Chet Walker and Walter Davis in the player category; Guy Lewis, Norm Stewart, Eddie Sutton, Lefty Driesell and Bill Sharman in coaching; and Meadowlark Lemon, Jerry Colangelo, Vic Bubas, Tex Winter, the late Junius Kellogg and the late Chick Hern as contributors to the game. College official Hank Nichols was proposed as a referee.
