There are enough to give the impression the dispute between Sunshine Network, which holds Lightning TV rights, and Time Warner Cable is close to being resolved.
"Based on what we heard today, it appears that a deal is imminent," Lightning president Ron Campbell said Monday.
Both sides have pulled back twice from apparent done deals. Sunshine has been off Time Warner since Jan. 1, disputing how much Time Warner will pay it for programming.
But Sunshine's decision to add three games to its production schedule _ Wednesday against the Kings, Saturday against the Canadiens and March 31 against the Bruins _ gives the impression it wants programming available if an agreement is reached.
As Sunshine is airing previously scheduled Magic games those nights, Lightning games will be available on DirecTV: Ch. 633 Wednesday and Saturday, March 31 TBA; DISH Network: Ch. 446 Wednesday, 448 Saturday, 449 March 31; Verizon Americast: Ch. 525; Shaw: Ch. 2.
