AFT, LEO, 78, of South Pasadena, died Wednesday (March 12, 2003) at a daughter's home in Clearwater under hospice care. Born in Chicago, he came here in 1994 from St. Louis, where he retired as an electrical engineer after 36 years with Union Electronics. He was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the Jewish War Veterans and the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary. He was an Air Force veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean War. Survivors include two sons, Larry, Florida, and Kenneth, Texas; four daughters, Rachel Friedman, North Carolina; Nancy Aft, Clearwater; Rebecca Aft, Missouri; and Carol Aft, Maine; a brother, Harvey, Maine; and 12 grandchildren.
