Joyful reunion

Crews from two Coast Guard cutters returned home to St. Petersburg this week to the warm embraces of family and friends after six months of overseas duty as part of the war in Iraq. The cutters Knight Island and Pea Island had been ordered to Portsmouth, Va., shortly after Christmas so the crews could get special training and the ships outfitted for overseas duty. The cutters were sent to the Mediterranean Sea.
