EDWIN McCAIN: A musician from South Carolina, Edwin McCain played solo acoustic shows on Hilton Head Island before gradually expanding his territory. He cut his teeth by opening for Hootie & the Blowfish and is known for tunes like I'll Be, Solitude and I Could Not Ask for More. ANGELS IN AMERICA: Tony Kushner's Angels in America, Part 1: Millennium Approaches touches on politics, religion, race and AIDS - all in a humorous, poignant and thoughtful manner. In 1993, Angels won a Tony Award for best new play.
