CAHILL, DAVID WOODING, 51, of Tampa, died Wednesday (July 2, 2003). Born in Danville, Va., he graduated from the University of Virginia medical school in 1976. He trained in advanced neurosurgery at the University of Maryland and eventually became the director of the division of neurosurgery at the University of South Florida, where he trained more than 20 neurosurgeons. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sandra; a son, Austin; and two daughters, Erin and Laurin. Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa.
