HEAT: Forward John Wallace and center Loren Woods signed free-agent deals. No terms were released.

MAVERICKS: An Army specialist injured in Iraq received a $30,000 grant from the Fallen Patriot Fund, established by owner Mark Cuban to help families of soldiers killed or seriously injured in the war. Spc. Luis Calderon, 22, of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, is hospitalized at the Miami VA Medical Center and does not have use of any limbs. Calderon is slowly improving from his injuries; he was taken off oxygen Friday, shortly before the afternoon ceremony.

PACERS: Ron Rothstein, a former head coach in the NBA and WNBA, was hired as an assistant.

SIXERS: Guard Willie Green and forward Kyle Korver, who were acquired in trades during the draft, signed. Allen Iverson's wife, Tawanna, gave birth to a boy. Isaiah Rahsaan Iverson weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces. Iverson has two other children, Tiaura and Allen II.
