Crystal River at Lecanto

WHEN: 7:30 p.m.

THE SKINNY: Lecanto has dropped seven straight games, but can salvage the season with an upset. The youthful Panthers (they start two seniors) have given up 40 or more points in six of their past seven games. They held Hernando, however, to 15 in a loss on Oct. 17. Lecanto quarterback C.J. Osburn and receiver Pete Collins form the county's top passing combo.

OUR PICK: Crystal River.

Wesley Chapel at Citrus

WHEN: 7:30 p.m.

THE SKINNY: Citrus is a different squad than when it struggled earlier in the season, but now the Hurricanes face their toughest test. Wesley Chapel (8-0) has blistered opponents by an average of 36-8. Because of its numerous offensive weapons _ like quarterback Casey Snyder and running backs R.J. Cobb and Courtney Henry _ Citrus can keep it close.

OUR PICK: Wesley Chapel.
