An unnamed black bear _ known to park workers as Brutis _ gorges on nuts, fruits and crackers that the staff stuffed into a pumpkin for him Wednesday morning at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. Bears get fruit and nuts daily there. The pumpkin was added as a holiday toy he could roll. Brutis tapped his into water and then sampled the pumpkin of another bear, a young female. The park's bear habitat, where the two 21-month-olds live, has been scheduled for expansion.
