GAME OF THE WEEK

No. 1 Oklahoma (8-0, 4-0) vs. No. 14 Oklahoma St. (7-1, 3-1)

WHEN/WHERE: 3:30 p.m.; Memorial Stadium, Norman.

TV: Ch. 28.

OF NOTE: Oklahoma State upset OU the past two years, ending the Sooners' national title hopes. Here we go again? The Sooners sit atop the polls, including the all-important BCS. A Cowboy threepeat and they would be tied with Oklahoma and, perhaps, Texas (if it beats Nebraska today) for first in the Big 12 South. Sooners quarterback Jason White is No. 2 in the nation in passing efficiency. The Cowboys counter with tailback Tatum Bell, who is second in rushing, and Rashaun Woods, second in receiving.

UCF (3-5) AT WEST VIRGINIA (3-4)

WHEN/WHERE: 1; Mountaineer Field, Morgantown.

COACHES: UCF _ Mike Kruczek (36-28, sixth season); WVU _ Rich Rodriguez (5-16, third season).

NOTES: West Virginia is coming off a 28-7 victory over then-No. 3 Virginia Tech; UCF is 0-2 in Big East road games. UCF quarterback Ryan Schneider's return from a midseason shoulder injury has him back on track to solidify his place among the NCAA's most prolific passers. But Kruczek is concerned about the noise factor at Mountaineer Field.

FAMU (5-4) AT HAMPTON (6-1)

WHEN/WHERE: 1:30; Armstrong Stadium, Hampton, Va.

COACHES: FAMU _ Billy Joe (82-38, 10th season; 233-98-4 overall); HU _ Joe Taylor (98-26-1, 12th season; 159-65-4).

NOTES: Hampton enters ranked 25th in the Sports Network I-AA poll. The Rattlers must find a way to stop freshman running back Alonzo Coleman, who leads Hampton with 728 rushing yards, leads the MEAC with 12 touchdowns and has had three consecutive 100-yard games.

N.C. A&T (7-1, 3-0) AT B-CC (6-1, 3-1)

WHEN/WHERE: 4; Municipal Stadium, Daytona Beach.

COACHES: NCA&T _ George Small (first season; 41-36 overall); B-CC _ Alvin Wyatt (50-23, seventh season).

NOTES: If the Wildcats are going to defend the conference title, they need to hand the Aggies their first MEAC loss in this battle of Sports Network I-AA ranked teams. Former Tampa Catholic star Allen Suber hasn't finished a game against NCA&T, leaving with injuries in two starts.
