Robinson improved to 7-2 and 3-1 in Class 3A, District 10 and clinched a spot in the playoffs with the victory over the Patriots.

The Knights took a 13-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, and increased the lead to 28-0 by the half. The Knights played aggressively through the air as quarterback Marcello Trigg completed 12 of 17 passes for 208 yards and three touchdowns by halftime. The Knights ended the half as Trigg hooked up with Amando Murrillo for two long strikes of 47 and 24 yards respectively, the second ending in a touchdown.

PLAYS OF THE GAME: Trigg's 47-yard and 24-yard completions to Murillo came on back-to-back plays with less than one minute remaining in the half.

PLAYERS OF THE GAME: Trigg threw for 208 yards and three scores without playing a down in the second half. Murrillo had five receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown. The Knights did have a running game as well, as Jermaine Doster ran 12 times for 143 yards and a score of his own.

KEY STATISTIC: The Knights had 343 yards of total offense in the first half. The Patriots racked up 151 all game.
