Northside Christian used a stingy defense and versatile running game to earn an old-fashioned homecoming football rout. The Mustangs had three players with at least 60 yards, and quarterback Bobby Dare ran for two scores.
PLAY OF THE GAME: With 2:48 remaining, Dare hit receiver Tim Devlin over the middle between two defenders for a 30-yard touchdown, answering the Eagles' only score.
PLAYER OF THE GAME: Erik Anderson scored on both sides of the ball in the first half, giving Northside a 12-point lead. He ended the night with 79 yards on 17 carries.
