Ralph Loffredo, chartered financial consultant and life underwriter, and Emily Loffredo recently announced the relocation of the Center for Retirement Security to the new Emerald Vista Center office building at 10483 Heley St., Spring Hill.

Samson Jewelers owners Robert Cyd Samson and Sandra Kaye Samson have relocated the business to 2153 Mariner Blvd., in the new Mid Towne Centre.

Robert Samson's father, Cyd Samson, started Cyd Samson Jewelers in 1969 in Brooksville, where his son learned the business. In 1985, Robert Samson earned a bench jeweler/jewelry design degree. In 1986, he opened his business in Spring Hill, where it remained in Sterling Square on Spring Hill Drive until its recent move.

The Hernando Endoscopy and Surgery had an appreciation day and information session for affiliate medical office staffers on Oct. 15 at the center's conference center. Participants were treated to a lunch catered by Papa Joe's Italian Restaurant. Speakers included George Collins, nurse manager, and Dr. Sea H. Lee, who is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management.

Linda Plunkett, owner of A Woman's Point of View Rug Specialist, 4578 California St., south of Brooksville, recently completed a course in fiber and fabric forensics at the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration headquarters in Baltimore.

Fiber identification is an important part of caring for fibers.

Plunkett also is an Oriental rug care specialist and a certified master carpet and upholstery cleaner.

Realtor Ralph Paulsen, an agent with the Hedick Group, Real Estate Services, 4098 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, reached $5-million in sales in the three months he has been associated with the Hedick Group.

Paulsen's year-to-date sales volume exceeds $13-million, and he has sold more than $54-million since 2000.

Central Healthy Start has added Dr. James Murray of Nature Coast OB/GYN, 14540 Cortez Blvd., west of Brooksville, to its board of directors.

Central Healthy Start is a private, nonprofit organization formed by individuals and organizations from Citrus, Hernando, Lake and Sumter counties to ensure that children are provided the opportunity for healthy and productive lives.

The organization seeks to provide access to prenatal care for all women who need it and access for all infants up to 3 years old to services that promote growth and development.
