ESPN NFL Football

System: Xbox

Company: Sega

Price: $44.95

Grades: NFL Fever B+; ESPN A+ Some people may recognize the NFL Fever name. It has been the leading football game on Xbox since the system was released, and so far has not had much competition. Then along comes ESPN Football.

ESPN Football is the latest version of Sega's NFL 2K game with a new name and loads of new features.

While NFL Fever does have a few new features, it really hasn't changed enough since the last version, and it's starting to get a little out of date. It's not nearly as realistic as its competitors, and the graphics are not as cutting edge as they used to be.

ESPN Football, on the other hand, has more than a few features to make it notable. It has a First Person Football mode, where you play the game through the eyes of a player. This is fun but hard to get used to. The graphics are also very good, with some of the smoothest animations I've seen in a football game.

All around, ESPN Football takes the cake, with better graphics, variety and game play. It looks like NFL Fever's reign over the Xbox is over. The new king is ESPN Football.
