Reason to celebrate

Largo residents enjoyed the third annual "Celebrate the Seasons" parade and festival from Downtown Largo Main Street. The Saturday evening event featured an antique car show, refreshments, live entertainment, clowns, bands, dancers, a children's game area and a teen area with basketball and a DJ.

Color Guard members from American Legion Post 119 lead the "Celebrate the Seasons" parade, which started at 5:30 p.m. along W Bay Drive.

Garden Club of Largo members Mary Blackmon, left, Carolyn Patton, center, and Elaine Bicknell throw candy and cruise along West Bay Drive in their flower-covered convertible, wearing flowered shirts and hats to complete the look.
