Downtown Dade City Main Street's annual Reverse Raffle, a gala fundraiser that draws hundreds each November, will undergo dramatic changes this year.
Main Street executive director Ginny Solberg said the group's board decided to downsize the event to a reception downtown at the Wachovia Bank building, at Meridian Avenue and Seventh Street.
The Reverse Raffle event has been successful, Solberg said, but it needs an overhaul. The smaller event will fill in while Main Street redesigns the full evening.
The more casual fundraiser is scheduled for Nov. 30, from 4-7 p.m., after the annual downtown Hometown Holidays shopping day. A $25 ticket gains entry to the reception, with hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, live auctions and drawings for cash prizes and other items. A cash bar also will be available.
Invitations to those who have attended in the past will be mailed this week. Tickets are also available during business hours at the Main Street office, 14138 Sixth St.
