Time ran out Monday for Pinellas County parents who needed to register their children for school next year or who needed to choose a school for them. School officials say they have processed about 11,000 choice applications since the registration period opened Sept. 1, and that thousands more have been submitted. The officials could not estimate how many parents didn't participate in the choice process. Children who did not make a choice will be placed in schools for 2004-05 after other students have been assigned. Kristina Johnson, left, was the last parent to leave the St. Petersburg Family Education and Information Center Monday evening. She had come to register her son, Bradley Antonelli, for kindergarten.
